John Lim and Richard Augustin return with OmNomCast (sorry for the week's delay, folks!) and attempt to create decent snacks from the remnants of John's fridge (which include a bottle of ketchup, Tabasco sauce, Mayonnaise, bread, cucumber, and a tube of some fish spread thingie).
So what did we come up with?
1 A quick-fix McGyver pizza that uses pasta sauces as a base.
2 A peanut-butter based salad dressing
3 Leftover KFC shredded into unrecognisable bits to be made-over into a chicken-mango salad dressing (or gourmet sandwich)
4 A pimped-up Maggi mee goreng that's recreated to become an aglio-olio pasta
The recipe for Richard's KFC-Mango Salad Dressing:
1 piece leftover roasted or fried chicken 1 small onion finely chopped 2 tbsp mayonnaise 1 small mango, peeled and diced Salt and pepper to taste 50 gm raisins (optional) 50 gm roasted cashew nuts
Shred or dice chicken. Add in onion mayo, mango, raisins and season according to taste. Can be use as a filling for sandwich or as a topping for a salad.
